Professional Background:
Anna is the Development Manager of Annual Giving and Special Events at Beech Brook, an organization that has been helping children, youth and families for 160 years. Anna began her development career working on CRF’s $3.2 million Rivergate Park Capital campaign. Prior to entering the nonprofit sector, Anna worked in Market Research on many well-known brands, including Glidden and Ralph Lauren paint, Hoover and Dirt Devil vacuums, Applebee's, KeyBank and Progressive Insurance.
Education:
Anna received her MA in Consumer Psychology from Cleveland State University; she also received a BSBA in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
Rowing Background:
In 1989, Anna began rowing in the Flats Racing League (currently known as the WRRA Summer Rowing League). When the league disbanded in 1992, Anna along with several other avid rowers, worked to bring the program to WRRA. Anna has held many board and committee positions in WRRA and CRF including: Director of the Summer Rowing League, WRRA Away Regatta Chairperson, CRF Bow Ball Chairperson, and has been the Secretary for both WRRA and CRF.
In 1996 Anna received the CRF Burning Blade award for her significant volunteer efforts, and for running Summer Rowing League for four years.
Anna currently rows in WRRA's Masters Rowing Program. She has competed and earned medals in regional, national and international regattas since 1998. She earned a Bronze medal at the USRowing Masters Nationals regatta and has competed in five Head of the Charles Regatta's.
Community Involvement:
Anna is an active volunteer for Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity has also served on the Board of the Young Friends of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
